DAMIEN HIRST DOES FOOD
There’s no escaping the Hirst machine…and now apparently art & eating go hand and hand. At least they do if you visit the chicken & steak serving, London based restaurant, Tramshed, you can view the huge ‘Cock and Bull’ sculpture commissioned from Hirst by the restaurant owner, Mark Hix.
Not that there isn’t any relevance here. Downstairs, beneath the restaurant there’s a gallery, aptly called… you guessed it ‘Cock and Bull’. Which houses art exhibitions that rotate every six weeks.
I’m not gonna lie -i’m going as soon as I’m back in the UK.

The Great Serpent Mound of southwest Ohio averages about 1330 feet in length and 3 feet in height. Representing an unwinding serpent, the mound is sheathed in mystery and controversy. The serpent is thought by most to be about to swallow an egg. However many theories abound suggesting various interpretations. For instance some think it may represent an eclipse. It is a National Historic Landmark.
